WHAT WE DO

Love God & Love Others

LOCALLY

Awana: Each school year, we host a weekly Wednesday after-school Awana program for children from pre-K to eighth grade. Kids from the community learn verses, play games, build friendships, and see how to apply God's Word in their lives. We meet at the church, and supper is provided for children and volunteers.

VBS: A free summer Springs-area VBS for kids is hosted by local churches working together. Register now for VBS 2024.

Meeting God Where He's at Work: Every person is unique, with a special mix of gifts, experiences, and life challenges. God tugs on our individual hearts to step up and do the work he has planned for us.

That looks different for each person, whether it's helping distribute food through programs like Feeding South Dakota, visiting older adults at senior centers, sponsoring children, donating to supply essential food and services, or providing meals to injured or ill neighbors. To get started, spend time in prayer and be alert to God's call to you!

About Our Leather

REGIONALLY

Capitol Commission: As a church, we help support the Wipf family (pictured here) as they provide spiritual support for elected officials and leaders in government. Jarvis Wipf currently serves as state minister for South Dakota. You can help by keeping local, state, and national leaders in your prayers.

North American Baptist Conference: We partner with and contribute to NAB's support of churches throughout the state and the continent. Church planting, leadership formation, and missional training all fall under the umbrella of NAB's work with more than 400 member churches in the U.S. and Canada.

Missionaries for Awana: The Harkness family facilitates Awana children's programs across South Dakota and other north-central states. We are fully committed to this weekly method of teaching kids about God through study and mentoring, which is why we help sponsor Paul and Janet Harkness as missionaries in our region.
